When LGC was founded in 2003, we were operating solely in Indianapolis. In the past 17 years, we’ve expanded to 35 cities across the country. Each local office is diverse and integral to the success of LGC. This series will look at our offices individually, highlighting what makes them unique.
We’re lucky to have a location in the most populated city in the state. With over 1.5 million people living in Phoenix alone, it’s a hot spot (often literally) for talented professionals. As of 2018, there were over 70,000 food service and hospitality workers employed in the “Valley of the Sun”.
Because the weather rarely drops below freezing, Phoenix is a great city for holding outdoor events. LGC has had the opportunity to staff several PGA golf tours each year which always promise to be great events for our employees. Home to Arizona State University, football games are another popular event we often place staff at.
Jaime Horning, Regional Vice President of the western region currently oversees the Phoenix office. As we celebrate our two-year anniversary in the state’s capital, we’re looking forward to watching this market grow thanks to its’ diverse talent pool made up of people from all over the country.
