{"id":317920,"date":"2024-02-23T17:47:30","date_gmt":"2024-02-23T22:47:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lgcassociates.com\/?p=317920"},"modified":"2024-02-26T12:11:34","modified_gmt":"2024-02-26T17:11:34","slug":"staffing-the-big-game","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lgcassociates.com\/es\/staffing-the-big-game\/","title":{"rendered":"Staffing the Big Game with LGC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In February, we had the opportunity to assist with staffing the big game (as we have in years past) for some pre-game events. <\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Over the last two decades, LGC has been fortunate to have our workforce at amazing events nationwide, which have often included events that are a household name. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">LGC Area VP, Kelsey Scott, worked tirelessly to ensure our efforts staffing the big game were a success and that we created a great staffing experience for guests and attendees. Kelsey shared her experience in Las Vegas \u2013 here\u2019s what she had to say:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><strong>Kelsey Shares Her Experience with Staffing the Big Game<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cLGC received the order for the Super Bowl on November 8<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">th<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> and had to turn in headshots and information for all staff working by Nov 17<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">th<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> for the 87 people requested! We were able to submit 135 people to NFL for them to work Superbowl on February 11<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">th<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. With other events, we\u2019re not typically tasked with having all this information confirmed and sent almost 3 months before the event, and a lot goes into this process. We\u2019re so glad we were able to get it done and are appreciative of our employees who helped make this happen. <\/span><\/i><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Both Sara (fellow LGC Area Manager)\u00a0and I had to wake up at 2am to be at the Orleans Arena to grab our credentials and help our employees get their credentials. After that, employees were shuttled over and placed in the Chiefs Tailgate Party, 49ers Tailgate Party, or VIP Tailgate party for both teams.<\/span><\/i><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The tailgate parties were lively and electric! There were live DJs, fun games like cornhole and giant Jenga, and different table games. Each tailgate party had different food like street corn, BBQ sandwiches, buffalo Mac \u2018N Cheese, and a ton of desserts. The VIP party had lobster and steak entrees with servers coming around offering little candy boxes. The VIP party had girls in roller skates dancing around and entertainment everywhere you turned. It was like a playground for football fans. <\/span><\/i><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.careergroupcompanies.com\/blog\/what-goes-into-staffing-the-2024-super-bowl\">employees<\/a> said they had a blast and that all the Super Bowl fans that came were so friendly! Each party had over 2,000 people from different walks of life. The client was so pleased with LGC and said our people were absolute rockstars and they would use our employees time and time again.\u201d<\/span><\/i><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">There\u2019s a lot of behind-the-scenes work that goes into staffing an event of this magnitude. We\u2019re so thankful for Kelsey and her team and the 100+ employees that signed up to work the big game.
