Self-proclaimed \u201cpayroll wizard\u201d, Taylor\u2019s dedication to working hard and going the extra mile helped her land a promotion\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to supervisor\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">eight months into her employment.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Starting as Payroll Clerk, she dove headfirst into her responsibilities, learning and growing along the way. Since early on, she says \u201c<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">I wanted to show myself and show my skills, I wanted to do more.\u201d<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Clearly, her managers took notice; she\u2019s now the Payroll Supervisor with\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">a\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">team of five<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">reporting up to her.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Crunching numbers wasn\u2019t always in Taylor\u2019s future. Prior to working with LGC, she was a stay-at-home mom\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to her\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">son, Sylas. Having just graduated with a degree in Medical Billing and Coding, she was looking for a new opportunity when her friend Maria told her about the company she was with; LGC. S<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">hortly after, s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">he interviewed and accepted the job as Payroll Clerk. With previous experience in data entry at an optical lab, she had skills that helped her feel confident in her new role.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">She attributes a large part of her success to her team \u2013 she happily mentions that during her time as supervisor, they\u2019ve often closed out payroll early. During a recent transition where\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/lgcassociates.com\/es\/lgc-new-markets-shiftgig-transition\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">LGC acquired Shiftgig\u2019s book of business<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, her team stepped up to the challenge of timekeeping adjustments and the addition of new territories to manage. Taylor plans on continuing to train and educate her team so that when it\u2019s time for her next move, they can take over.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">When this\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ambitious\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">25-year-old isn\u2019t managing payroll for over 35 cities, she\u2019s spending time with her fianc\u00e9, son, and their four pets. She\u2019s passionate about those around her and the work she does.
