Holiday Hiring in 2019<\/strong><\/h5>\n

It\u2019s the most understaffed time of the year<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the biggest challenges facing hospitality and foodservice is seasonal\u00a0<\/span>hiring<\/span>. In 2018<\/span>, retailers brought on over 600,000 workers between November and January alone. A\u00a0<\/span>recent report<\/span><\/a>\u00a0pre<\/span>dicts holiday sales may see a 5% increase this year<\/span>, with companies such as Macy\u2019s, Kohl\u2019s, and Target<\/span>\u00a0planning to hire between 80,000 and 130,000 seasonal employees each.\u00a0<\/span>Retail is not the only industry\u00a0<\/span>affected by the holidays<\/span>\u00a0— r<\/span>estaurants across the country<\/span>, e<\/span>specially in major cities or around big shopping areas<\/span>\u00a0will see an increase in<\/span>\u00a0traffic.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
