The coronavirus pandemic has forced\u00a0<\/span>restaurants\u00a0<\/span>to rethink\u00a0<\/span>aspects\u00a0<\/span>of their\u00a0<\/span>business\u00a0<\/span>while\u00a0<\/span>millions of people stay home and<\/span>\u00a0day to day operations\u00a0<\/span>are\u00a0<\/span>affected<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>Although most restaurants are seeing a decrease in sales due to the change in business,\u00a0<\/span>some<\/span>\u00a0managers need to hire to account for increased demand. But\u00a0<\/span>during the age of quarantine, what\u00a0<\/span>should\u00a0<\/span>the hiring process look like?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fortunately<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>recruitment process,\u00a0<\/span>which\u00a0<\/span>usually\u00a0<\/span>includ<\/span>es<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>posting\u00a0<\/span>job advertisements and\u00a0<\/span>receiving\u00a0<\/span>application<\/span>s, has been digital for the past several years.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>T<\/span>he interview<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>process,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>typically\u00a0<\/span>conducted\u00a0<\/span>in person,\u00a0<\/span>has been\u00a0<\/span>affected due to health and safety concerns regarding face-to-face interaction.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is where remote hiring comes in. Digitizing\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>entire hiring\u00a0<\/span>process will\u00a0<\/span>allow businesses to conduct\u00a0<\/span>interviews as usual, removing the physical interaction but keeping the personable aspects that come with interviewing.
