data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0been almost two months since\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">restaurants and bars around the country were forced to suspend dine-in\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">services\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">due to the coronavirus.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">But as we get accustomed to\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">practic<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ing<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">social distancing\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and other health\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0safety\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">measures<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, businesses are beginning to think about\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">what t<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">heir \u201cnew normal\u201d will look like<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0(though<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/wont-be-normal-from-coronavirus-pandemic-covid19-fall-2021-2020-4\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">some suggest<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0our life won\u2019t go back to normal until 2021<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">)<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0While\u00a0it\u2019s impossible to say\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">exactly what the future holds, restaurants\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">should\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">expect the following once they\u2019re approved to reopen:\u00a0<\/span><span aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A possible rolling lockdown.<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/countries-may-need-more-lockdowns-coronavirus-2020-3\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Business Insider<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0suggest<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0that the U.S.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cmay need to impose new lockdowns every 3 months until a coronavirus vaccine is available,\u201d due to the possible reemergence of the disease from\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">state\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">reopening&#8217;s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">With this\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">considered<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, restaurants should be planning what team members they need to operate, how they\u2019ll maintain staff, etc.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In cities<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and states<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0that have begun\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">reopening<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">like South Carolina and Hong Kong, we\u2019re seeing capacity restrictions\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">placed on restaurants and retail stores (<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">i<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.e. businesses that typically go against the notion of social distancing).\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">It\u2019s highly realistic that we\u2019ll see\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">restrictions on the number of people allowed in a business at once,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">so start to think about\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">your business capacity at different percentages and how to enforce these rules.\u00a0<\/span><span alleviates the concerns of social contact.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Once stay-at-home orders are lifted,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">it\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><span
