In addition to the obvious health and safety concerns, this uptick\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">has led to cities re-instituting c<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ertain restrictions\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">of public spaces, including bars and restaurants. (<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">To view COVID restrictions by state,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aarp.org\/politics-society\/government-elections\/info-2020\/coronavirus-state-restrictions.html\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">click here<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.)\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Along with<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0social distancing<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0rules<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">most p<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ublic spaces\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">are r<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">equir<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ing<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">employees<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and customers<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to wear masks<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.restaurantdive.com\/news\/96-of-restaurants-require-staff-to-wear-masks\/581886\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Restaurant Dive<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0reports that\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">96% of restaurants\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">are requiring staff to wear masks,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">with more than 50% of states implementing mask mandates<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and as of recently,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/business-a-lobbying\/business-a-lobbying\/508213-major-hotels-to-require-guests-wear-masks-nationwide\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">major hotels<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0will now require guests to wear masks<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0in all public places.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Despite<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0the rise in cases,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">most businesses are open to the public in some aspect.
