Since their founding in 1933, the CRA has been integral in being advocates for the foodservice industry in one of the biggest food and beverage meccas in the country.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">On January 8th of this year, the Colorado Restaurant Association held the Blue Ribbon Legislative Reception, which provides hospitality professionals with the opportunity to share their industry-related concerns with local legislators. This reception \u2013 which is the most popular event of the season amongst legislators \u2013 \u201cshows [our] state legislators the full force of the industry\u201d and brings attention to \u201cbills and regulations&#8230;that could hurt the ability of restaurants to operate successfully.\u201d <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In attendance was LGC\u2019s Denver Perm team and LGC\u2019s Area VP of our temporary staffing division.\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/sean-hoover-a6bb22ab\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Sean Hoover<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, General Manager of LGC\u2019s Permanent Placement division, is on the board of directors for the Mile High Chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association. The team had the chance to network with several senators and house members regarding initiatives to help the industry in Colorado. As local industry experts, the LGC team was able to provide invaluable expertise and feedback on the best ways to support the Colorado foodservice community.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-310840 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lgcassociates.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Facetune_14-01-2022-23-30-14-225x300-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">All in all, it was a great night for sharing ideas, constructive criticism, and feedback to help create a better landscape for Colorado-based restaurants.
