- The Restaurant Dining Room Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant’s front-of-house, ensuring excellent customer service and the smooth running of the dining room. Previous experience with Japanese cuisine is preferred but not required. Managing Staff: The Dining Room Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of all front-of-house staff members, including servers, hosts, and bussers. They should hire, train, and schedule staff as needed, and ensure that all employees are following proper procedures and protocols.
- Customer Service: The Restaurant Dining Room Manager should ensure that customers are greeted promptly, seated quickly, and provided with excellent service throughout their dining experience. They should also respond promptly to customer complaints and ensure that any issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Quality Control: The Restaurant Dining Room Manager should ensure that all food and beverages served meet the restaurant’s quality standards. They should also ensure that all equipment is maintained and operating properly.
- Safety and Sanitation: The Dining Room Manager is responsible for ensuring that the dining room and all front-of-house areas are clean, safe, and sanitary. They should enforce health and safety regulations, including food handling and preparation guidelines, and ensure that all staff members are following proper procedures.
