3. Bredenbeck’s Bakery (Chestnut Hill, PA)
“It’s a cute small bakery in Chestnut Hill outside of Philadelphia. They make the best homemade cakes, cookies and sticky buns. They also have hand dipped ice cream during the summer with any topping you can think of! My family has been going here for Christmas morning treats ever since I can remember, it’s a local favorite!” – Meredith, Corporate Assistant
4. Brown Bear Bakery (Cincinnati, OH)
“In honor of National Dessert Day, LGC Cincinnati sampled treats from Brown Bear Bakery, a newer local small business in the trendy OTR (Over the Rhine) neighborhood. It has been receiving rave reviews and did not disappoint!
They are known for their cinnamon rolls, and although I do not typically care for them I LOVED this cinnamon roll! The dough is not too sweet, and the frosting with orange zest gives a yummy balance. They were out of their famous matcha (green tea) cake, but the earl grey cake was delicious! Kayla Meyer (Sr. Staffing Manager) said the cake was her favorite bite!
Brown Bear worth trying for sure, should you ever find yourself in the REAL Queen City!” – Brittany, Director of Client Relations
5. Confectioneiress Cupcakes & Sweets (Zionsville, IN)
Recommended by Lindsey, Corporate Assistant
6. Gayles Chocolates (Royal Oak, MI)
“Gayles Chocolates, a small, local, woman-owned chocolate shop located in Downtown Royal Oak, MI a block away from our Detroit office. Truffles are hand-dipped and rolled everyday upstairs in her chocolate factory with her bittersweet truffle being her best-seller. They also have a full espresso bar, as well as over 2,000 molds of chocolate shapes including her signature chocolate wedding high-heel. The must-have at Gayles is the Junk Food. It comes in a mini-garbage tin and has a layer of pretzels, potato chips, toffee, rice krispy, peanut butter, oreo, and more coated in a thick layer of milk and dark chocolate drizzle.” – Tiffany, Detroit Assistant Staffing Manager
