When LGC was founded in 2003, we were operating solely in Indianapolis. In the past 20 years, we’ve expanded to more than 40 cities across the country. Meet LGC Portland
Portland is home to over two million people, making it the second-most populous city in the Pacific Northwest after Seattle (another LGC location!). With great food and beverage programs in the area, it’s no wonder that the number of hospitality professionals continues to grow, with the hospitality industry bringing in billions of dollars each year.
Portland is home to a variety of different events, offering an opportunity for LGC’s employees to work museum galas, tattoo conventions, outdoor concerts, weddings at wineries, and more. According to Kelsey, the Regional Perm Director in Portland, the community of independent businesses helps “Keep Portland Weird” and makes it an environment welcoming to different walks of life. Plus, Portland is home to the world’s smallest park, Mill Ends Park, which comes in at a whopping 452 square inches. And while this fact doesn’t have much to do with LGC, it’s too cute not to mention.
Since February 2016, LGC has been fortunate to operate in The City of Roses (aptly nicknamed due to its warm, dry summers and cool, rainy winters, making it the perfect climate for growing roses.) As we continue to grow, we’re looking forward to experiencing everything Portland has to offer and to continue connecting talented hospitality professionals with the clients who need them.
