Job Overview:
LGC Hospitality Staffing is hiring dependable Dishwashers to support hotels, hospitals, schools, and event-based food service operations. This is a temporary, on-call position ideal for individuals who are reliable, work with urgency, and can handle fast-paced kitchen environments.

This is a physically demanding role. You will be on your feet for the entire shift, working in a hot, wet environment, and expected to keep up with a constant flow of dishes during peak service times.

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dish machines or by hand
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish and kitchen areas
• Ensure all items are properly sanitized and stored
• Remove trash and maintain clean workstations throughout shifts
• Assist with basic kitchen support tasks as needed (restocking, sweeping, mopping)
• Keep up with high-volume dish flow during peak service times
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
• Follow direction from kitchen staff, supervisors, and client managers
• Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work

Work Environments:

• Hotels (kitchens and banquet operations)
• Hospitals (cafeterias and patient dining)
• Schools and universities (cafeterias, dining halls)
• Event venues and catering operations

Requirements:

• Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in hot, wet environments
• Ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs and handle continuous physical activity
• Ability to work quickly and stay organized in fast-paced settings
• Strong work ethic and ability to take direction
• Reliable transportation to various job sites
• Flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed)
• Dependable attendance and professional attitude
