Every year, Staffing Industry Analysts, known globally as premier advisors to the staffing industry, hold a conference called Collaboration in the Gig Economy. Arguably the largest staffing event of the year, this conference commonly known as “GigE” promises to be innovative, informational, and exciting. The LGC team will be in attendance, so we put together a list of what we’re most looking forward to this year.

We’re most excited for Making the Gig Economy Work for the Workers: Best Practices of the Best Freelancers, an interactive panel that focuses on the voices of the workers. LGC employee Ryan Humenik will be speaking on the panel, detailing his experience as a gig worker. We’re proud to have him on stage representing LGC and know that this is a can’t miss event. GigE brings staffing industry professionals from all around the world to once place. When else would we get an opportunity like that? Whether we’re at a session or mingling at a happy hour, we know they’ll be great conversation.

This year’s conference is held in sunny San Diego, CA from September 10th-12th. Located within walking distance of the San Diego Bay, this spot guarantees to be a beautiful backdrop for this collaborative event.
What we’ll take away
In attendance is everyone from staffing solution suppliers and providers, to human cloud companies, to VMS/MSP/RPO providers. With such a wide array of attendees, we know we’ll come away refreshed with new ideas for the rest of 2019 and the following year.
