At LGC, we’re dedicated to serving our clients, workers, and community because without their help, we wouldn’t be where we are today. As a way to give back, throughout the year we encourage our employees to take “volunteer days”, where they get a paid day off to volunteer with an organization of their choice. Waterfowl & Wetlands: Sponsoring Ducks Unlimited
Recently, LGC had the opportunity to work with Ducks Unlimited and sponsor their 41st Annual Monroe County Banquet. Ducks Unlimited is a non-profit organization that protects the Wetlands and improves habitats for waterfowl—they have conserved more than 14 million acres of wetlands since 1937.
Along with donating our time during the banquet, our CEO George Lessmeister donated money on behalf of LGC, going towards the incredible work DU does for conservation.
When partnering with organizations like this, it gives us the ability not only to donate, but to learn more about what great work organizations like this do for our community and environment. We’re thankful for this opportunity and are looking forward to helping more in the future.
