2024 Wrapped: Our Top 10 Favorite Moments from This Year
It’s hard to believe that 365 days ago we were sitting down to plan out the year ahead, and now here we are, looking back at 2024 with a smile. Closing out a calendar year always feels a little bittersweet, as we’re reminded that some of our favorite memories are now behind us.
But as they say, the best days are yet to come. 2024 was an exciting year for us at LGC. We got to be a part of some of the biggest and most exclusive events of the year, launched new app technology, and so much more!
To celebrate how far we’ve come, we’re taking a moment to look back at our favorite memories from 2024 before heading into 2025.

10. March Madness Office Tournament
While the biggest names in college basketball battle it out during March Madness, LGC has its own fierce competition. Every week on our Instagram page, our local branches go head-to-head until one branch is crowned the winner. Our followers love this competition because they get to vote for their favorite LGC location. We can’t wait to see which branch takes the crown in 2025!
9. Austin City Limits – Austin, TX
Underneath all this staffing business, we’re music lovers at heart. So, helping out at Austin City Limits, one of Texas’ largest music festivals, was a thrill for us. Our team had a blast and made some great memories. We hope we get to ACL next year!
8. BMW Golf Tournament – Denver, CO
For the first time since 2006, a PGA Golf tournament returned to Denver, and we couldn’t believe we were there for such a historic event. With over 125,000 fans in attendance, LGC was honored to provide staff that helped make this tournament a smashing success.
7. National Restaurant Association Show – Chicago, IL
One of our favorite events this year wasn’t just one we attended; it was one where we got to shine. At the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, we hosted a booth and talked with representatives from world-renowned companies like Keurig and Coca-Cola about our services. Not to mention the incredible food we got to sample while exploring McCormick Place.
6. StaffNow Launch
This year, we were thrilled to launch our newest technology: StaffNow. On July 1, the app went live, making it easier for employees to pick up shifts and for clients to place orders on demand. The success we’ve seen in just six months has us excited for what’s to come in 2025!
5. Indy 500 – Indianapolis, IN
One of the perks of being headquartered in Indianapolis is being part of the Indy 500 every year. This year’s race was packed with surprises that had us on the edge of our seats. We love playing a role in helping this iconic event cross the finish line and can’t wait to do it again next year!
4. Formula 1 Heineken Grand Prix – Las Vegas, NV
There’s nothing quite like the roar of a racetrack, and we’re experts—after all, we’re at the Indy 500 annually. But attending the Formula 1 Heineken Grand Prix in Las Vegas this year was something else. Watching Mercedes take 1st and 2nd, with Ferrari close behind, made for an unforgettable experience.
3. Final Four – Phoenix, AZ
Four teams. Two championship contenders. This year’s Final Four games were electrifying, with some of the nation’s best college basketball teams going head-to-head. As our own CEO George Lessmeister is a proud Purdue University alum, all eyes were on the action. We’re already looking forward to the 2025 games in San Antonio!
2. The Big Game – Las Vegas, NV
The first part of 2024 had us gearing up for the BIG game in Vegas, and we’re already preparing for a repeat performance in New Orleans. Being part of one of the year’s most anticipated events is always a thrill, and we hope to do it all over again in just a few months.
1. Taylor Swift Concert – Indianapolis, IN
Our highlight of the year? Being part of Taylor Swift’s unforgettable Indianapolis concert in November. With more than 80% of attendees traveling from out of state, it was a monumental night not just for LGC but for the entire city. Collaborating with some of our favorite hotel and stadium clients to ensure they were ready to welcome the crowds was an absolute joy. This event will always hold a special place in our hearts.
2024 was truly an incredible year for LGC. We’re grateful for all the opportunities we had to support our communities and make unforgettable memories. If 2024 was this amazing, we can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store.Â
