Job Description
Position Overview:
The FOH Manager is a key leadership role focused on maintaining high standards in a dynamic, full-service, upscale casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will embody the company’s values and philosophy, operating with an owner mindset. This position will oversee dining room operations, including maintaining consistency, quality guest experience, and profitability, while simultaneously developing and motivating staff. Candidates must be willing to be cross-trained in both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) environments.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure daily operations align with company values, operating philosophy, and strategic goals.
- Lead FOH teams to consistently deliver high-quality guest experiences, adhering strictly to service standards.
- Drive financial performance by actively managing labor costs, service efficiency, and other controllable expenses.
- Collaborate closely with Directors of Operations and Area Directors to develop action plans for improving overall financial controls.
- Foster an environment centered around guest satisfaction, community involvement, and positive internal team dynamics.
- Uphold rigorous standards of safety, security, cleanliness, and responsible business practices.
- Proactively engage in team training, mentoring, and performance management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of management experience within a high-volume, casual dining setting.
- Proven experience managing service specifications and dining room systems.
- Demonstrated track record of career stability and consistent upward progression.
- Strong knowledge of P&L management and financial goal attainment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and delegation skills.
- Ability to build genuine relationships with guests, promoting repeat business and guest loyalty.
- Passion for training, coaching, and team development.
