Job Overview:
LGC Hospitality Staffing is hiring dependable Food Service Workers to support colleges, K-12 schools, and event-based food service operations. This is a temporary, on-call position ideal for individuals who are reliable, take direction well, and can work efficiently in structured, fast-paced environments.

You will assist with food preparation, service, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while representing LGC at client locations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food prep (portioning, assembling, and serving meals) 
• Support cafeteria lines, dining halls, and event service operations 
• Serve food in a timely and professional manner 
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, serving areas, and dining spaces 
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed 
• Restock food, beverages, and supplies throughout shifts 
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and client-specific guidelines 
• Assist with setup and breakdown for meal service or events 
• Follow direction from supervisors, chefs, and client managers 
• Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work 

Work Environments:

• Colleges and universities (dining halls, campus events) 
• K-12 schools (cafeterias and meal programs) 
• Event venues and catering operations 

Requirements:

• Previous food service, cafeteria, or kitchen experience preferred 
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs 
• Ability to work in structured, high-volume environments 
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow direction 
• Reliable transportation to various job sites 
• Flexible schedule (early mornings, daytime shifts, some evenings/weekends) 
• Professional appearance and dependable attendance
