Job Description:

As a bartender employed by LGC, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages for our patrons. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere, ensuring guest satisfaction, and adhering to all safety and alcohol service regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

•Mixing and Serving Drinks: Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and creativity. Maintain a high standard of quality and consistency in every drink you create.
•Customer Service: Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to all guests. Engage with customers, take drink orders, and offer recommendations based on their preferences.
•Menu Knowledge: Be well-versed in our beverage menu, including specialty cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options. Answer questions and make suggestions to assist customers in making choices.
•Cash Handling: Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, process tabs, and provide change when necessary. Keep track of customer tabs and ensure bills are settled promptly.
•Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including bar tools, glassware, and equipment. Ensure all supplies are adequately stocked throughout the shift.
•Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to alcohol service. Verify the legal drinking age of customers when necessary and refuse service to intoxicated or underage individuals.
•Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

•Previous bartending experience in a similar establishment is preferred.
•Knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixing techniques, and beverage presentation.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
•Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
•Responsible and reliable with a professional appearance and demeanor.
•TIPS or equivalent responsible beverage service certification is a plus.
