Job Description:
As a Food Service Worker employed by LGC, you’ll work directly with our clients, on-site at their facility (which may include cafeterias, airports, catering companies, stadiums, nursing homes, and more). Your position plays a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive top-quality service and meals.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
  • Food Assembly: Prepare and assemble food items such as sandwiches, salads, and entrees following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Stocking: Monitor and replenish food and beverage supplies, condiments, and utensils at serving stations.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash and operate cash registers, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including wiping tables, cleaning trays, and disposing of trash.
  • Compliance: Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines, including proper storage and handling of food items.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
