Job Description

Position Overview:
The General Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for maintaining high standards in a dynamic, full-service, upscale casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will exemplify the company’s values and philosophy, demonstrating an owner mindset. This position will manage overall restaurant operations, ensuring quality guest experiences, financial health, and team development. Candidates must be willing to be cross-trained in both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) environments.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure daily operations align with company values, operating philosophy, and strategic goals.
  • Lead both FOH and BOH teams to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences and high-quality culinary offerings.
  • Drive financial performance through strategic management of sales, labor costs, food costs, and other controllable expenses.
  • Collaborate closely with Directors of Operations and Area Directors to develop action plans for improving overall financial controls and operational efficiencies.
  • Foster an environment centered around guest satisfaction, community involvement, and positive internal team dynamics.
  • Uphold rigorous standards of safety, security, cleanliness, and responsible business practices.
  • Proactively engage in team training, mentoring, and performance management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of management experience within a high-volume, upscale casual dining setting.
  • Proven experience managing both service and kitchen systems.
  • Demonstrated track record of career stability and consistent upward progression.
  • Strong knowledge of P&L management and financial goal attainment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and delegation skills.
  • Ability to build genuine relationships with guests and team members, promoting repeat business and loyalty.
  • Passion for training, coaching, and team development.
