At LGC, we value collaboration and supporting each other’s success. As a nationwide team spread across departments and state lines, it’s rare that we’re all in the same place at the same time. To bridge this gap and ensure we continue growing together, we’ve recently introduced a new professional training and development series for our internal team, known as “Hard Hat Meetings” and “Coffee Breaks.”

Hard Hat Meetings

These meetings are focused on refining company procedures to ensure we’re constantly improving how we serve you. We kicked off the series last month with a presentation from our Marketing team.

As we head into October, a crucial time for us—when we help many clients and candidates find placements for the holiday season—the Marketing team shared insights on LGC’s strengths, the industries we specialize in, and strategies for building strong client relationships. They also discussed how to guide clients through a seamless staffing process. By honing these key areas, our team is better prepared to meet your needs this holiday season.

Looking ahead, future sessions will cover various topics, including a deep dive into payroll processes, best practices for expanding our client and candidate networks, and setting goals for 2025. What makes these meetings unique is that each session features an internal expert sharing their insights on the respective topic.

For example, in October, our payroll team will lead a session, offering tips, identifying areas for improvement, and answering questions. These collaborative sessions allow us to work together to continually elevate the quality of service we provide.

Coffee Breaks

Coffee Breaks, on the other hand, are designed to explore the LGC internal employee experience. These shorter, more casual sessions address a range of topics, such as mental health, understanding our ESOP and Roth IRA programs, navigating LGC’s benefits, and resetting for the new year. By investing in our team’s well-being and growth, we create a positive, energized workforce equipped with the tools to tackle any challenge.

We’re excited about these sessions and the opportunities they provide to continuously improve LGC—for both our internal team and the clients and candidates we serve every day. You are part of our growth, and these internal developments directly contribute to making your experience smoother and more efficient.
