This time of year, we pause to reflect on the people and experiences that have shaped our journey. As Thanksgiving quickly approaches, we asked our team to share what they’re most grateful for this year. Their thoughts remind us of the values that make LGC so special.

It’s often said that if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. For many of us, that love stems from the connections we share with coworkers and leadership—the camaraderie that turns a workplace into a second home. Isaiah Page, Area Director for many of our Eastern offices, perfectly captures this sentiment:

“I’m thankful that we move as a unit. Team-culture is something a lot of companies aspire for, but struggle to truly maintain. There is no one in LGC who I wouldn’t be able to pick up a phone and call to chat through something. Not many companies can say that.”

This year, we were thrilled to launch our brand-new technology, StaffNow. In just a few months, our incredible special events team has used it to make events like concerts, golf tournaments, and more an undeniable success. Brittany Hunter, Executive VP of Business Development & Special Events, reflects on the team’s accomplishments:

“I am beyond thankful for our wonderful StaffNow team. We are genuinely building something great here, and it is 100% due to the dedication and teamwork displayed on a daily basis.”

One of the unique things about working at LGC is the opportunity for personal and professional growth, supported by a team that truly cares. This year, we celebrated milestones for team members who have spent 5, 10, and even 15 years with the company—a testament to the environment we’ve built together. Jennifer Sukup, our Director of Training and Professional Development, shares her gratitude:

“I am thankful for the opportunity I have been given to work so closely with our new managers as they start their careers with LGC and to see them grow and advance in their positions. I am also grateful for my fantastic team and leaders—Brandy Slusher, Russel Williams, and Glen Greenwalt—who I can always bounce ideas off of and collaborate with, and for the many friends and ‘family’ I’ve acquired over the years.”

Growth, however, isn’t without its challenges. When we encounter roadblocks, it’s our resilience and attitude that help us move forward. Elizabeth Tomczak, Area Vice President, offers her perspective on navigating these moments:

“I am thankful for the valuable learning experience working with LGC provides. The challenges I face, whether with staffing solutions or other complex tasks, lead to continuous growth. I’m also thankful that LGC provides tools and resources that make my job easier and support my goals. Reflecting on how I’ve adapted and succeeded despite challenges is a powerful reminder of my resilience and achievements.”

While there’s so much to be thankful for this year, what we’re most grateful for as a company are the relationships we’ve built with our clients and employees. In the business of serving people, the trust you place in us motivates us to do our best every day. On behalf of our entire nationwide team, thank you for your partnership and support.

From all of us at LGC, Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃
