Jaime Horning, VP of MarketStaff, says this on its’ founding: “In 2020 everything changed. What we saw as one of the most pressing issues then (and still two years later) – product supply was low, shelves were empty at the stores, shipping was delayed, companies were shutting their doors. Why? The need was there more than ever, but there was not sufficient staff in place to meet the demands. Companies already shorthanded due to upper management cuts, workers out sick, long-term employees resigning due to lack of childcare, and the list goes on.
This is where the idea of MarketStaff comes into play. LGC, a company with experts in the field of recruitment and staffing since the early 2000’s, needed to go beyond the hospitality industry that we were built upon and transition into other industries that desperately needed our support. Having personally had experience in industrial and general labor recruitment, I was more than excited to launch the new division of LGC into Retail and Distribution services.
